What To Do With Thanksgiving Leftovers
My mother-in-law, Michelle, is a chef. She runs a cafe in Lebanon, and she really excels at what she does in part because she is really resourceful in her cooking. She can turn the most basic ingredients into something special, and she always finds ways to save money on groceries by making the most of what is on sale or in the pantry.
One thing she is great at? She never lets anything go to waste. She knows just how to bring things together to make a mouth-watering meal. She has taught me a lot about the importance of using what you have, in cooking and in life. I’m very blessed to have learned so much from her. From wilted greens to a leftover meal, she can take pretty much anything and give it new life. Most of us will have a fridge full of leftovers on the day after Thanksgiving. So here are a few of Michelle’s favorite ways to bring new life into Thanksgiving leftovers.
It’s really easy to forget leftovers or let them pile up, but if you use a little creativity, they can turn into the foundation of a meal that is just as good as Thanksgiving dinner.
